Cape Town and its many faces!

By February 22, 2017South Africa

In case you already miss our postings, Philipp and I have been super busy during the last couple of days being a classical tourist. From making a „Hop On Hop Off Tour“ around the city, visiting the Waterfront and his awesome food market, climbing Lion’s Head for the sunset, having the one or the other beer at some local bars and clubs, chilling between the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, shopping at the Old Biscuit Mill and its Neighbourgoods Market in Woodstock to simply walking through the colorful streets of Boo Kaap.

While the “Mother City” has way too much to explore on its own, we yesterday also made a quick day trip down to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Even though it’s super touristy, we still think it is something you shouldn’t miss during your stay in South Africa. Not only because of the most south-western point of the African continent, but also because of the many small villages, perfect coffee stops and the beautiful nature along the way.

Cape Town and its surroundings have just too much to offer for a single blog post. Therefore we will let some photos speak for now. More to come during the next couple of days…

Most amazing experience so far: Getting a tattoo in Cape Town!
Worst experience so far: Having a sun burn on both ears. Ouch!

Cheers,
Melanie & Philipp
